DOSM is implementing the mobile application trend by creating Mobile Discovery, which will deliver statistical information targeted for Data Visualisation as an interactive graphical form accessible through mobile devices. 

Data Visualisation is a sub-module under Insightful Business Intelligence (BI), which comprises a pre-defined report and dashboard that provides visualisation. Its primary goal is to deliver information clearly and efficiently via information graphics, such as charts and graphs. In addition, visualisation will help users analyse and reason about data and evidence by making complex data more accessible, understandable, and usable. 

The user must download and install the Mobile Discovery application either ‘Play Store’ (Android phone) or ‘App Store’ (iPhone phone) depending on the type of telephone mobile they are using. Then, users need to search for the DOSM custom made Mobile Discovery application and follow the instructions to download and install the process according to StatsDW Phase II.

Upon successful installation, users will be directed to a landing page. Here, the user can select various subjects according to user preference for statistical information.
